When You Dance I Can Really Love

As I went about my business in the office leaving my musical listening up to the Ipod Shuffle God I landed upon this song which had me thinking about all my wonderful friends I have met through dance and reminiscing about all the exciting and challenging times we have shared together.

So this is dedicated to all my beloved dancers out there who have had a huge influence on my life and continue to inspire and provoke me each day.

"When You Dance I Can Really Love"

When you dance,

Do your senses tingle?

Then take a chance?

In a trance,

While the lonely mingle

With circumstance?

I've got

something to tell you,

you make it show.

Let me come over,

I know you know

When you dance

I can really love.

I can love,

I can really love,

I can really love

I can love,

I can really love,

I can really love

Like a

mountain that's growing

a river that rolls

Let me come over,

I know you know

When you dance

I can really love.

When you dance,

Do your senses tingle?

Then take a chance?

In a trance,

While the lonely mingle

With circumstance?

I've got

something to tell you,

you make it show.

Let me come over,

I know you know

When you dance

I can really love.

Life isn't about
waiting for the storm
to pass.
It's about
learning to dance
in the rain.

My little Easter friends:

They share my desk with me and spend all day chirping
happy little melodies.

My First Ever Blog:
(!!)

One year ago today I took the first step towards a whole new adventure. I said goodbye to Wellington and see you again soon to all my loved ones I left at the airport gate and began my transition to the United Kingdom.

The mission:
To shake things up, give myself a bit of a fright with a decent challenge.
To learn a thing or two about living life and
discovering what really is the dilemma which is Emma.
Nine months into living in London and travelling Europe
I'd say I was succeeding.

My anthem song:
The song that fills me with the courage and confidence to be
an empowered woman living life walking tall.
The song that creates bubbles of excitement inside me
to strive to always be the

"Suddenly I See"

Her face is a map of the world
You can see she's a beautiful girl
And everything around her is a silver pool of light
The people who surround her feel the benefit of it
It makes you calm
She holds you captivated in her palm

Suddenly I see
This is what I wanna be
Suddenly I see
Why the hell it means so much to me

I feel like walking the world
You can hear she's a beautiful girl
She fills up every corner like she's born in black and white
Makes you feel warmer when you're trying to remember
What you heard
She likes to leave you hanging on her word

Suddenly I see
This is what I wanna be
Suddenly I see
Why the hell it means so much to me

And she's taller than most
And she's looking at me
I can see her eyes looking from a page in a magazine
Oh she makes me feel like I could be a tower
A big strong tower
She got the power to be
The power to give
The power to see

Suddenly I see
This is what I wanna be
Suddenly I see
Why the hell it means so much to me.
